More than 20 years ago, from humble beginnings as a sole practitioner in Ipswich, Andrew Bertram set out with a clear vision — to build a physiotherapy clinic defined by clinical excellence, compassion and continual growth. Alongside hands-on patient care, Andrew undertook extensive postgraduate study across Australia and the United States, shaping the evidence-based approach that underpins our practice today.

 

Andrew and his wife Jillian went on to establish Bertram Physiotherapy, creating a clinic grounded in integrity, expertise and genuine community care. Over two decades, the practice earned a strong reputation across Ipswich, expanding and relocating three times to meet growing demand and better serve its loyal patient base.

 

In 2022 the next chapter began. Following 12 months of careful design and planning, the clinic expanded and rebranded as Bertram Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Centre, opening its purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility at 132 Blackstone Road, Silkstone (formerly the Marco Polo building) in December 2022.

 

This was more than a relocation — it was the evolution of a long-standing commitment to deliver exceptional physiotherapy, expanded health services and innovative rehabilitation, all within a modern, purpose-designed environment.
